My Bid for President

Because None of This Is Normal

Trump Jumps On One Of His Own (MAGA)

This latest unhinged rant from Donald Trump says a lot about why he’s going so aggressively after Thomas Massie—a Republican who, by nearly every measurable standard, is as “MAGA” as they come.

And what’s Massie’s crime? Speaking out about holding child predators accountable and pushing for transparency around the Epstein files.

Let that sink in.

Because when you actually look at Massie’s record, he checks just about every box the MAGA movement claims to stand for—arguably more consistently than Trump himself.

During Joe Biden’s presidency, Massie voted with Biden just 1.8% of the time—tying for the lowest among Republicans. If opposing Democrats is the standard, that’s about as MAGA as it gets.

He’s been firmly against U.S. involvement in foreign wars—something MAGA supporters used to champion before Trump discovered how much he enjoys the power that comes with global conflict and strongman politics.

On Ukraine, Massie has taken hardline positions that align with the MAGA base: amplifying narratives about biolabs, opposing support for Ukraine’s sovereignty after Russia’s invasion, and resisting NATO expansion to countries like Finland and Sweden. Again—squarely in line with much of Trump’s rhetoric and his base.

He denies climate change, pointing to cold weather as “evidence” against global warming.

He’s pushed to loosen gun laws.

He’s supported repealing Obamacare.

He’s opposed vaccine mandates.

And, in classic political hypocrisy, he’s voted against disaster relief—until his own state needed it.

By every standard the movement claims to value, Massie isn’t just MAGA—he’s a textbook example of it. He’s dominated elections, routinely pulling in over 65% of the vote, and even ran unopposed by a Democrat in 2024.

So how does someone like that suddenly become a “RINO” in Trump’s eyes? Why label him “the worst Republican Congressman” in history?

Because Massie crossed a line—not by abandoning MAGA principles, but by refusing to fall in line when it comes to protecting powerful people tied to deeply disturbing allegations.

That’s the real issue.

You don’t have to be a political expert to see what’s happening here. When someone as aggressively partisan as Trump turns on one of his own—someone who aligns with him on nearly everything—simply for demanding accountability on issues involving the exploitation of children, it raises serious questions.

At that point, it’s no longer about ideology. It’s about what’s being protected—and why.

And that tells you far more about Donald Trump than any campaign slogan ever could.
