Law enforcement is one of the toughest careers out there. Despite its challenges, it offers a unique experience unlike any other professionโno two days, hours, or even minutes are the same. Officers may respond to a minor car accident, a domestic dispute, a violent crime, an armed robbery, or even a simple call about a cat stuck in a treeโall in a single shift. Each situation demands a different response, and officers never truly know what theyโre walking into. Thereโs far more to the job than whatโs portrayed on TV or in Hollywood scripts.
Public perception of law enforcement varies widely. While many people respect and support officers, others distrust them or view them with fear and skepticism.
Hereโs my stance: we must respect and properly equip our law enforcement. Maintaining law and order in this country requires not only well-trained officers but also ensuring they have the necessary tools to do their jobs effectively. Defunding the police is not the answerโwe cannot expect them to perform at their best without adequate resources.
On this website, I will outline key actions and policies that law enforcement should have the right to implement in order to keep our citizens safe.
