MAGA Ignorance and Beliefs
Let’s have an honest conversation, MAGA — and by “honest,” I mean the kind you clearly aren’t used to having with yourselves.
If virtually everything you believe requires a massive, secret conspiracy to hold it together, at some point you have to ask yourself: maybe you’re the one who’s disconnected from reality.
Let’s go through it, because the list is long.
You believe Democrats “rig elections” — while Republicans control the Senate, the House, the White House, and 26 of 50 governorships. Rigged against whom, exactly? Do you hear yourself?
You believe the No Kings rallies were “paid actors” — roughly 8 to 9 million people, across thousands of cities and towns, somehow paid, organized, and deployed for a single event. Name the entity. Name the logistics. Name anyone besides George Soros, because that answer isn’t going to cut it. You can’t, because it’s fiction.
You believe there’s a massive media conspiracy against Trump — yet you watch Fox News, a network that employs Trump’s own daughter-in-law, is staffed with former Trump administration officials, and runs a primetime lineup of openly conservative Trump cheerleaders. But that network isn’t biased. Sure.
For years, you screamed about Democrats trafficking children. The Epstein files. The “Democrat-controlled” conspiracy. You were certain. Until Trump’s own Department of Justice moved to suppress those files, Trump called it all a “hoax,” and he personally pressured members of his own party to vote against releasing them. And suddenly — silence. You no longer seem concerned about powerful people protecting child predators. Funny how that works.
You spent years insisting Barack Obama was a secret Muslim who faked not one but two forms of his birth certificate. Zero evidence. Zero proof. You believed it anyway — enthusiastically, loudly, and without a shred of shame.
Then it was the Clinton Foundation — a foreign money laundering operation, you said. Qatar was funneling cash in. Corruption at the highest levels. Yet you are completely unbothered by Trump accepting a $400 million plane from Qatar and running a crypto scheme that allows anyone on the planet to funnel money directly into his pockets. The hypocrisy isn’t subtle. It’s staggering.
Then came the “Biden crime syndicate” — this criminal mastermind who was simultaneously, according to you, too mentally unfit to tie his own shoes. You can’t have it both ways. Meanwhile, you’re perfectly fine with Trump’s family growing their net worth by over $2 billion while in office, and with a president who occasionally goes on five-minute incoherent rants about Sharpie pens. But sure — Biden was the one you were worried about.
You claimed Obama was controlled by foreign interests — yet you have nothing to say about Benjamin Netanyahu’s stranglehold on Republican foreign policy, or about senators like Ted Cruz and Lindsey Graham who appear far more committed to Israel’s prime minister than to the American people they were elected to serve.
You lost your minds over Jade Helm — a routine military exercise that you were convinced was a plot to seize guns and impose martial law under Obama. Not a single gun was taken. Not one. But now you’re completely fine with Trump deploying the National Guard into American cities against the explicit wishes of state and local governments, and using ICE as his own personal paramilitary force. That’s the real thing you said you were afraid of — and you’re cheering for it.
And you’ve spent decades screaming about “big government” controlling the states — something Democrats have never actually done — while staying silent as Trump threatens, coerces, and attempts to financially blackmail any state that passes legislation he doesn’t like. That’s not small government. That’s a strongman.
Here’s the bottom line, and it isn’t complicated:
When everything you believe — every attack on your opponents, every defense of your leaders — requires an elaborate, unprovable conspiracy to function, you are not engaging with reality. You are living inside a story that was built for you, by people who profit from your rage.
They need you focused on hating half the country so you don’t notice that their bank accounts are growing while yours isn’t. That their power is expanding while yours shrinks. That the “elites” you claim to despise? You keep voting for them.
The conspiracy isn’t on the other side. You’re living inside one.
